

Speed At the End
Another year of speed workouts comes to an end this Wednesday. We will meet again at Washington Park at 6 p,m. We will warm-up as usual and then do a variety of brief speed building activities followed by some fun relays. Afterwards let's have a Potluck! Please bring a dish to share. See you Wednesday! I guess you heard they found the bank robber they'd been looking for. He was at the campground on the edge of town. Apparently, it was a clear case of Criminal in tent.


Light Pole Workout to Brighten Your Evening!
Bill: "Hey Kitten, What do you think about a light pole workout for Wednesday night's speed? Kim: Yuck...I told you I don't like those goofy pet names people call each other! No need to Duck out on Speed
If you've ducked out on a few of our speed workouts don't be down. Maybe its time to give Bill and the speed group another try. Wednesday night at 6pm at Washington Park we have another good workout lined up. Waddle we be doing? The workout for this week is "Indian Running". We will warm-up as usual and then have you group up with 6-8 of runners of a similar level. Each group can run 2-3 miles of Indian Running where the group runs single file with the last runner in lin


Time to Run The Mile
It's time to pay the price for success, time to Run The Mile. This should be Electrifying! We've come full circle from the spring when we did our first timed mile. Summer track workouts and several summer races should have conditioned you for more. With upcoming races it's always good to build confidence with a quick mile. We meet at Washington Park again at 6pm. We will stretch and then do a run to the 1.25 mark of the Women's Distance Festival course near MacArthur st
