Final Laps


With school starting for SHG soon, this will be our final "Track" speed workout for 2019. Next week we will return to meeting at Washington Park. With many running the Abe's Amble event scheduled for next Sunday, I thought it would be a good idea to do some pace miles. I was thinking 2-3 total depending on what works for you. I think it would be best to start with a pace quarter mile to get you on the right pace. We will warm up as usual with static and dynamic stretching, then break into groups of people with similar pace goals for your 400 and 1600 meter pace runs. Usually I try to add a bit of humor to my blogs but this week I have a headache. I had a bunch of books fall on my head but I can only blame my shelf...... I'm going to go do some laundry. I think it will make me feel loads better. I relabeled all of the jars in Kim's spice rack...I'm not in trouble yet but the thyme is cumin. I have to be honest with you, I was addicted to the hokey pokey but I turned myself around and that is what it's all about. :-)
