Women’s Distance Festival 2020 is a GO!

Springfield Park District has given us the green light to host WDF live on July 11, 2020!

Ladies!  Bring your mother, daughter, sister or friend and run or walk this beautiful two mile course through Washington Park. This race is for women and girls of all ages, whether you are a competitive runner or just plan to stroll through the park.  Everyone who registers gets a race shirt and an awesome swag bag! Shirt guarantee deadline is June 19, 2020; additional swag is available to the first 300 at packet pickup while supplies last.  (UPDATE: Door prize drawing & kids run are canceled due to public health restrictions, but will be back in 2021!)

Registered participants- check your email for all the details & follow instructions for selecting your start time! Start times are in 15-min intervals beginning at 8:00 am. First come, first served! Here’s a shortcut:

1. Click here 2. Find the Women's Distance Festival and click "Manage Registration" 3. In the menu select WAVE 4. Select your wave (start time) from the options available, and click Save Changes.

New for this year is a virtual race option!

For those competing virtually, Beginning Saturday July 11th you will be able to submit your time.  To submit your virtual time, click HERE.  Find your name, and click EDIT TIME.  You can submit results from July 11th - July 20th.  Final results will be available July 21st.   

Packet Pick-up

Curbside packet pickup for Women’s Distance Festival races (live & virtual) is on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 4:00-6:30 p.m. at Washington Park near the bottom of the Carillon hill area.

Limited race day packet pickup will be available at 7:00-7:45 am near the start/finish lines.

Registration closes at noon on Thursday, July 9, 2020.  There will be no paper registration at packet pickup or on race day.
