Speedwork @ The Fairgrounds on 8/2

Are you signed up for the State Fair Parade run 2 miler?!?! Well, whether you are or are not (but you definitely should be ๐Ÿ˜œ) we are taking out workout to the race course this Wednesday!!!

Please join us at the fairgrounds inside the main gate (right near Ethnic Village) at 5:30pm on Wednesday. We will do some warm up together and be back to that spot around 5:45pm in case anyone is running behind. So don't worry if you are a few mins late! Typically you can park right inside the main gate or in Happy Hollow area right near there.

The workout will be (8) 0.25 mile intervals and we will do this on the actual parade run courseโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ

We will run each quarter hard, then will take 1-2 mins rest between each interval during which time Kim Stroble Owens and I will share tips and racing strategies given to us from Bill Owens ... who is a long time member of the club, amazing runner and coach of the Rochester High School cross country team! You DO NOT want to miss this! Breaking a race down into manageable segments and having a strategy for each segment can really help your running and mental preparedness.

I will place water and cups at our 1 mile turnaround point. I hope you will join us!
