Details for 2024: Kick off the Illinois State Fair with us!
We can't wait to see you at the 2024 Illinois State Fair Parade Run. The 33nd annual Parade Run will be one you don't want to miss. Please join us as we return to the Fairgrounds for our 33nd year running!
This two mile course starts inside the Illinois State Fairgrounds and heads out the front gate along the parade route. Parade watchers line the route and cheer you on!
To GUARANTEE a shirt, you MUST register before the deadline of July at 11:59 pm US/Central.
RACE PACKET PICKUP will be held on Wednesday, August 7 2024 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL. You are welcome to have someone else pick up your packet for you if cannot make it to packet pickup. You must attend packet pickup on Wednesday, August 9 to receive a free admission ticket to enter the fairgrounds.
Limited RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP will be held at the fairgrounds in the Village of Cultures on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Please note participants attending race day packet pickup will be responsible for paying admission to enter the fairgrounds.
NOTES FOR VIRTUAL RACE PARTICIPANTS
* Run or walk your two miles wherever you choose!
* Beginning Friday August 9th, you will be able to submit your time (the link is not available until that day.) You can submit results from August 9th-August . Final results will be available August .
Virtual participants will appear in the race results but are not eligible for age group awards.
To submit your time, click here and click Edit Results by your name: https://runsignup.com/Race/ParadeRun/Page/RaceResults You may pick-up your race packet on August 7 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL. You are welcome to have someone else pick up your packet for you if cannot make it to packet pickup. If you would prefer to have your packet shipped directly, you may purchase the shipping option during registration and the packet will shipped by mail AFTER the race. The shipping option is available ONLY to virtual race participants; there is no shipping option for those attending the live race.
Post-race refreshments and the awards ceremony follow the race in the Village of Culture.
