Springfield Road Runners Club is excited to announce the return of Abe's 50K Throw Down in 2023!

The rules are simple:

​

(#1) Be a club member. The website is www.srrc.net/join to join or renew. 

(#2) Complete a club race of each distance in one year: 2 miles, 10K, 10 miles, and half marathon.

​

What do we mean by "club" race?  The SRRC hosts FIVE races every year. While we have many other races on our race schedule, these are the races that are completely operated by our running club:

Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon (April)
Women's Distance Festival 2 miler (July)
State Fair Parade Run 2 miler (August)
Abe's Amble 10K (August)
Frostbite Festival 10 miler (December)

Women get their choice of which two-miler they'd like to do--or they can do both! When these races are done, you will have completed 50K of SRRC racing and get a SWEET finisher's medal for your efforts!
