SRRC hosts races, group runs, trainings and club socials for members throughout the year.  Check out the calendar for all events.

Club socials are a great chance for club members to get together for purposes other than running!  Sometimes a run is included --but always optional. Registration for socials will be listed once they are open.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

SRRC is cheering on the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes vs the Johnstown Mill Rats at Robin Roberts Stadium. We have the party deck reserved and want you to join us! This is a family friendly event! Please register all individuals in your party-they must be SRRC members. Stay for FIREWORKS after the game!

Stay after the game for a spectacular post game fireworks show lighting up the sky over Robin Roberts Stadium.

 

The party Deck is located directly next to the field down the first base line.

 

Your RSVP includes entry ticket and a 2-hour buffet that begins when the gates open.

• The buffet includes: hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies, soda, and water. Other concessions will be available for purchase at your cost.

• Draft beers, mixed drinks, wine, and craft selections (including collaborations with local breweries like Anvil & Forge and Springfield Beer Company) are available for purchase.
   

 

Registration Requirements:

Event attendance is FREE but you must register in advance as space is limited.

​

YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED CLUB MEMBER. If you bring family that are not members, they will be responsible for their own ticket and will not be allowed on the party deck with us or share in the buffet.

​

Capacity:

Space is limited to 80 individuals.

Run and Park and Chill with ice cream!

​

Our mid July social will be combining speed work with dole whip!

​

Speed Leader Scott will be hosting a mile time trial that will end at Park and Chill.  

​

Meet at Park and Chill 

(North side of Washington Park)

5:30 PM for any type of run, walk or just ice cream!

​

Parking is limited near Park and Chill but we are runners so that isn't an issue for us!  

​

Feel free to bring a lawn chair, bug spray or a blanket.  We will be offering a $7 item of your choice.  Extra cost will be on your own.  You are welcome to bring your own drinks!  We will have water available but we are cup free so please bring your own tumbler.
