Race highlights::

Race registration comes with t-shirt and finishers medal, and a pizza lunch. 

 

Awards are hand-painted rocks by local artist, Sheryl Polley and will be awarded to top 3 finishers in 5 year age groups up 70 and over. 

 

There is also a 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run. 

 

All proceeds go towards the Macon County Conservation Foundation to support the Macon County Conservation District in preserving and restoring our natural areas, and education the community about our natural resources.

Event Name: APL Donuts and Dogs 5K and Fun Run

Race highlights:: The Springfield Bicycle Club is pleased to present the 11th annual Springfield Kids Triathlon (formerly known as the HSHS St. Johns Children Hospital and SCHEELS Kids Triathlon). This event is a fun and exciting challenge for kids ages 5 to 13. All registrants receive a finisher’s medal, event t-shirt and refreshments, as well as a chance to win an age group award. The swim will be held in the Nelson Center's 50-meter pool. The bike is a lap around Lincoln Park, and the run takes place on a grass field in Lincoln Park.

Event Name: Superhero 5K run/walk fundraiser for kids

Race highlights:: The For Kids' Sake International Superhero 5K in Carbondale, IL is our largest annual fundraiser. Superheroes save lives, which is exactly what you do when you participate in this race. All proceeds benefit orphans and students in Bangladesh, The Gambia and Southern Illinois. Participants become true Superheroes, by fundraising for the kids.

Race highlights: On September 27, 2025, get ready to experience the excitement of running America's longest Main Street in the historic town of Belleville, IL, situated in the heart of America and just a short drive from downtown St. Louis, MO! As you make your way down Main Street, enthusiastic volunteers will greet you on every corner, providing incredible support and cheers with the charm of a Midwest small town.

 

Our full marathon is a USTAF-certified Boston Marathon qualifier and features approximately 10 miles on a paved trail, making both the full and half marathons accessible for runners of all experience levels!

 

Participants will receive a soon-to-be your favorite everything T-shirt and a finisher's medal as part of their registration.

 

After the race, join us for a celebration featuring local eats, a special beer brewed just for you by Shoehorn Brewing in downtown Belleville (for those ages 21 and older), and a DJ to keep the atmosphere lively as you celebrate your remarkable achievement.

 

The Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon is a non-profit event, with proceeds reinvested back into our community.

 

The event is organized by the Belleville Running Club and Toolen's Running Start.

Are You Country Strong?

 

River Bottom Country Runs for St Jude returns for our 8th Annual race on June 7, 2025 @ 7:00AM

It will feature a 5K & Half Marathon that will test your strength and agility as you navigate central Illinois' finest farm country. These scenic runs start with a .25 mile hill and then flatten out for the remainder of the course. All races are out and back style ending downhill, making your last mile your fastest!

 

A water cannon will be featured on the Half Marathon course, courtesy of Goodfield Fire Department!

 

Prizes will be awarded to the top female and male per race.

  • 5K Finishers will receive River Bottom Country Runs koozie, donuts, bananas and beer. (racers 21 years or older) First place prizes for male and female!

  • Half Marathon Finishers will receive a finishers medal, koozie, donuts, bananas and beer. (racers 21 years or older) First and second place prizes for males and females!

Event Name: F*L*A*T*S Trail Half Marathon

Race highlights::

Kirksville, Missouri's FLATS Trail Half Marathon takes racers over hills, rocks, roots, stretches of fast singletrack, and even some water crossings. Along with miles of lovingly maintained trails, the point-to-point course offers well-stocked aid stations, gorgeous views, enthusiastic volunteers, a well-marked course, age-group awards, prize money, the softest t-shirt in the whole universe, custom finishers medals, and a festive post-race celebration.

 

All proceeds go to the Forest Lake Area Trail System to support trail building and maintenance in Adair County, Missouri.
