Wow! What a great turnout we had for the Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon and the post-race party! Runners traveled from near and far to run the 55th anniversary of this race, and to score a sweeeeeet medal! Temperatures came in warmer than we were used to training in, but it made for a good post-race party! As you may have heard, there were some medical emergencies along the course and at the finish line, but the first responders and race volunteers were there on the scene. From all the reports we have heard, everyone will recover well! Thank you to all the runners, volunteers, spectators and race sponsors for making this such a great race! Mark your calendars for April 4th, 2020!
What's going on with the club this month:

Remembering Tom Cooper---SRRC Hall of Fame, and SRRC Board Past President
A celebration of life is planned for noon on April 28, 2019, at Washington Park. All running friends are welcome to join. Please wear running gear if you would like to join in on a memorial lap for Cooper. Running friend, Arlee Grimsley, shared these memories of "Coop"---as he was sometimes better known.
"Cooper was a believer that every runner should know what it takes to put on a race. He also said you compete against yourself not others. You always look to the next race to be better than your last."

9ph login popped up in my feed a couple times, so I clicked through just to see what the page looks like. Honestly, it’s pretty easy on the eyes—everything’s broken into these clear blocks so you’re not stuck wading through a messy wall of text. I also liked that they mention the GCash deposit withdraw thing right in the main content, so you don’t have to hunt around in tiny footers to figure out the basics. On my phone it didn’t feel cramped either, like the spacing actually gives your thumb some breathing room. The headings are simple and separated enough that you can skim and still know where you are, and the info boxes sit in neat little panels…
