Back in Washington Park on 9/5, we are going to give the Light Pole Run another try....hopefully running past, not into them. We will meet Wednesday at the park pavilion at 5:45 p.m., stretch and do a mile warm-up. Next, we will do a 2-mile loop, alternating fast and slow between the light poles. To add to the difficulty, we will run fast for 2 light poles and recover for 1. After the run we will do a mile or more cool down. This workout is geared more towards endurance than speed, but certainly uses both skills.
Just wanted to again thank Stephen and Paul for running the show last week and Kim for helping coordinate.
